Miriam Needham is a Lecoq-trained actor, theatre-maker and voice-over artist. Recent projects include The Schooldays of Thaddeus K (Blue Raincoat), Alice in Wonderland (Blue Raincoat), Play (Blue Raincoat), The Big Wall (Hawks Well), Bláth (Branar), Mise (Branar), and Macbeth (Offstage/Shakepeare & Co).

She has also written and performed her own work, such as Leathanach Bán (First Fortnight 2018), Rise & Repeal (online comedy short), Love Underwater (Scene + Heard 2017), Pinhole (Moving Bodies Festival 2016). As part of Mumbro Top, she has devised and performed comedy sketches which were performed at Oireachtas na Gaeilge, Electric Picnic, and Culture Night. She recently wrote her first full length play, Roots, as part of the Time at the Well Residency at the Hawks Well Theatre, Sligo.

Miriam also works regularly as a voice-over artist, most recently in The Living Stream (Radiofare, Dublin Fringe 2018) and PJ Masks (TG4). Her VO reel can be heard here: http://www.voicebank.ie/profile/Miriam_Needham

Upcoming projects include performing Alice in Wonderland at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow and the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in June 2019.
