Jade is an actor, singer and dancer. Her work can be found across various platforms including: tv, film, theatre, visual art and music. After graduating on a scholarship from Millennium Performing Arts, London. She then began working and collaborating with various Directors, Artists and Theatre Companies as an Actor, Singer, Dancer & Writer. She will next be seen on screen in the film ‘Joyride’ starring Olivia Coleman and Directed by Emer Reynolds. Jade is currently  playing ‘Gunn’ in the upcoming Netflix / MGM  Show -Vikings: Valhalla. Most recently she co-created & performed a short film with her company FemmeBizarre supported by The Arts Council of Ireland ‘Bringing Home The Bacon’-Directed by Gavin Fitzgerald with DOP Colm Hogan.

As a writer Jade is an Engine Room commission recipient 2020 at The Abbey Theatre and will continue to work with resident playwright Lisa Tierney Keogh throughout the autumn on a new solo work.  She also received the Creative Thinking Nomination in association with The Abbey Theatre & Dublin Fringe 19’. For her writing & performance in ‘Things we’ve Always Wanted to tell you’ By Scottee & Co supported by The British Arts Council. Jade was also commissioned by KFEST Arts and Music Festival  to write a show called ‘WHITE WASH’. She continues to write poetry, music and text for Catherine Young Dance Company including ‘Welcoming The Stranger’, ‘It Takes A Village’ & ‘State Of Exception’ - She is currently writing for the company's new work.

FemmeBizarre Theatre Company:

Jade is also co-founder & co-director of award winning company Duo FemmeBizarre who have presented work for THISISPOPBABY, Theatre Machine, Electric Picnic and Film Fatale, 5 Lamps Festival. In 2018, the company received Project Award funding for their very first production CAGED - Winner of Dublin Fringe Best Duo / Judges Choice & Best Production Nominee. The company are set for a National Irish  tour, a run at Dance Base Theatre at The Edinburgh Fringe 2021 & a run at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris 2021. Their new work received The 2020 Romilly Masters Award. During 2020 the company made a series of comedy sketches with Director Gareth Byrne these were kindly supported by The Irish Aerial Creation Centre, Chantal McCormick & The Solstice Arts Centre and can be found at femmebizarre.org

 

Singing & Songwriting Credits:

Jade has performed as a singer & musician at festivals around Ireland & Internationally and in venues such as The Abbey Theatre - Dublin, The Project Arts Centre - Dublin, Siamsa Tire - Tralee, INEC -  Killarney, Whelans - Dublin, The Savoy - Cork, The Everyman Theatre -Cork, The Pavillion -  Cork, The Roisin Dubh - Galway to name but a few. She has performed solo work and ensemble pieces. She has also  supported many artists including Marina and The Diamonds, The Hot House Flowers and Republic of Loose. RTE’s programme Nationwide as part of Culture night 2022.
